Utah PWB Scholarship and Grant Program
About
The Utah Chapter of Professional Women in Building (PWB) would like to offer you an opportunity to participate in the PWB “Women Building Utah” scholarship and grant program.
The Utah PWB is a non-profit organization focused on promoting, elevating, and supporting women in the building industry. Despite a growing awareness of the low percentage of women working in the construction industry, women are still significantly underrepresented in both residential and commercial construction. Women are very capable in this industry and can be very successful working as a trade professional, general contractor, designer, engineer, etc., and yet only represent approximately 3% of the construction industry nationwide. Our goal is to change the narrative and promote our cause by awarding scholarships and grants to women to help provide greater opportunities to participate and succeed in this field.
